All our pieces are crafted from solid 14k gold—not plated, filled, or vermeil—ensuring durability while retaining malleability. Normal wear may result in scratches, particularly noticeable on larger surface areas over time.

With our SMD Concierge Service, available for up to three years, we cover the cost of repairs, polishing, and even stone resetting for your SMD fine jewelry. We handle the shipping costs for both return and reshipment.

Services include: polishing, cleaning, stone resetting, engraving removal, and broken chain repairs.

Please note that this service excludes kinked herringbone chains. Refer to the product page for proper care instructions for necklaces.

Shipping

For ready to ship pieces, please allow 1-2 business days for processing, plus shipping time.Orders placed on weekends and major holidays will be processed the next business day. We do not deliver on weekends or holidays. During peak and holiday seasons, there may be processing and shipping delays. Read more on our Shipping Details page.

Returns

For domestic orders, you have the option to return most unworn or unused items within 10 business days of the delivery date. Once the item is received at our studio, we'll assess its eligibility for a full refund. Please note, depending on the condition of the returned item, a 20% restocking fee may be applied (e.g., if it's damaged or clearly worn). We'll provide you with a prepaid return label; however, for returns, a $10 deduction will be made from the total refund amount. If you choose to exchange or shop for a new item, SMD covers the return label cost. Certain pieces are only eligible for exchange or store credit—please review product descriptions and details before placing an order. We do not accept partial returns for individual products (e.g., returning only a chain or pendant from a necklace purchase).
