MAINTAINING YOUR JEWELRY
GENERAL CARE
Gold & Silver plated jewelry is practical, affordable and stylish for any wearer. However, to help your Shelley Moon Designs pieces last, here are a few tips we recommend:
+ Every after use, clean your plated jewelry with a cotton ball or a very soft cloth to remove any dust and dirt it has acquired. Gently rubbing the surface of your gold plated jewelry using a soft jewelry cloth also helps restore shine.
+ Refrain from spraying perfume or other colognes directly onto your jewelry. Spray first, then wear!
+ Like perfumes, wait until your lotions have absorbed into your skin before wearing your jewelry.
+ Substances like body sweat, oil, nail polish, nail polish remover, chlorine, perfume and the like may react with metal/plated jewelry and will cause it to tarnish easily. Make sure to take off your pieces before exercising, swimming, etc.
If your jewelry needs more cleaning you may clean it with warm, soapy water. Soak it for a few minutes and you may clean it with a soft brush. Stay away from jewelry cleaners and antibacterial soaps which may have certain components that will just make your gold plated jewelry tarnish more quickly.
To avoid scratches, wrap your jewelry in a soft cloth after cleaning or keep it in a jewelry box separate from other types of jewelry you have.

Please also include a description of your jewelry, and the reason for repair. Following your submission, we will review your request and respond with return information and damage fees to repair your jewelry. Once we receive the necessary items, we will make the repairs and return the items back to you in as little 2-3 weeks.
**Disclaimer & Liability**
If you receive a defective item, you must notify Shelley Moon Designs by sending an email within 5 business days of delivery date. Please reference actual delivery date with USPS tracking number. Repairs are only accepted with a Shelley Moon Designs receipt. You must email proof of receipt to info@shelleymoondesigns.com for this email submission to be valid. Repairs are only accepted with "return to sender" shipping label paid for by the purchaser. Package will not be accepted if not authorized by Shelley Moon Designs prior to shipping back to us.
