Shipping & Returns
For ready to ship pieces, please allow 1-2 business days for processing, plus shipping time. For made-to-order pieces, please allow 10-15 business days for processing, plus shipping time. Orders placed on weekends and major holidays will be processed the next business day. We do not deliver on weekends or holidays. During peak and holiday seasons, there may be processing and shipping delays.
We offer the below shipping methods. Please note that shipping times are not guaranteed and do not account for order processing time. We do not offer international shipping at this time.
ORDERS VALUED $200+
- SMD offers complimentary US standard delivery (5-7 business days) for orders valued $200+ USD.
- Orders valued under $200 incur a $10 standard shipping fee.
US STANDARD SHIPPING
- Orders valued from $500-$1499 USD are shipped via complimentary UPS Ground Shipping (3-5 business days) service.
- Orders valued below $500 USD are shipped via US Postal Service.
- We are unable to ship to PO boxes, hotels, or military bases.
- For orders to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico, shipping is $30.
3-BUSINESS DAY EXPEDITED DELIVERY
- Orders valued from $1500-$2499 USD are shipped via complimentary UPS 3 Day service.
2-BUSINESS DAY EXPEDITED DELIVERY
- Orders valued $2500+ USD are shipped via complimentary UPS 2 Day service, and may require a signature upon delivery.
- UPS 2 Day service is available for a flat rate of $25 USD for all in-stock orders.
OVERNIGHT EXPEDITED DELIVERY
- UPS Next Day Air delivery service is available for a flat fee of $50 USD for all in-stock items.
- To receive your order next business day, please order before 1pm PST.
SIGNATURE REQUIREMENT
- Orders valued $2500+ USD, engagement rings, and vintage pieces may require a signature upon delivery.
For domestic orders, you may return most unworn or unused items within 10 business days of the delivery date. We will determine if the piece is eligible for a full refund once it arrives back to us. Depending on the condition of the returned item, there may be a 20% restocking fee (i.e. if it's been damaged or clearly worn).
We will provide you with a prepaid return label. For returns, $10 will be deducted from the total refund amount. If you exchange or shop for a new item, SMD will pay for the return label.
We do not accept returns, exchanges, or resizing requests for international orders.
Custom orders, custom and half sized pieces are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned or exchanged. Select pieces are only available for exchange or store credit. Please read specific product descriptions and details before ordering. We do not accept partial returns for single products i.e. only returning a chain or a pendant from a necklace purchase. Please be advised that once the product has been shipped, we do not refund shipping costs.
Please allow 5-7 business days for us to process your return or exchange after we receive it in our studio.
REFUND
Returns are typically processed within 5-7 business days of their arrival at our studio. Once our team has processed your return, you will receive a refund confirmation email. Refunds are generally posted to bank accounts within 2-3 business days.
Depending on the condition of the returned item, there may be a 20% restocking fee (i.e. if it's been damaged or clearly worn). Please note that we are unable to refund shipping costs.
EXCHANGES
Yes, you can directly exchange via our returns page HERE. If you'd like to exchange for a half size, we can resize your piece when you purchase one of our services HERE. Once purchased, please email us at info@shelleymoondesigns.com to receive a prepaid shipping label.
We do not accept returns, exchanges, or resizing requests for international orders.

Facebook and Instagram Shop orders are not eligible for exchanges.
